On thethirdday of the lunar Chinese New Year, the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University sent a national medical team composed of5 nurses in blood purificationto aid Wuhan.
February 4th
A national emergency medical aid team of the Second Xiangya Hospital was gathered. 42 members and 10 different medical aid vehicles fully loaded with medicine and medical equipment wasted no time in assisting Wuhan.
February 7th
A medical team of 130 medical workers from Xiangya Hospital set out.
February 8th
Two medical teams of 130 medical workers respectively from the Second Xiangya Hospital and the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University were sent to aid Hubei province in epidemic prevention and control.
In addition to receiving and treating new patients in Changsha, Xiangya Hospital, the Second Xiangya Hospital and the Third Xiangya Hospital have also seen 8 experts engage in the high-level expert panel in Hunan province, sent 31 to the touring expert panel in Hunan that paid visits to 14 cities, towns and prefectures to provide guidance on epidemic prevention and control, 28 to support Changsha Public Health Treatment Center and 2 to Guangxi Province and Hainan Province respectively to aid in epidemic prevention and control.
In face of the epidemic, everyone in Xiangya is duty bound to fight against COVID-19 on the front line. They said that “it is doctors’ responsibility to whole-heartedly serve the country with their learning and our duties to protect patients.”
