On the afternoon of March 16th, Deputy District Mayor Zhang Difang led a delegation of 36 officials from various departments including the Education Bureau, Health Commission, Organization Department, Finance Bureau, and Human Resources Bureau, as well as representatives from the medical industry, to visit and exchange ideas at Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University. The visit included the 2024 "Pudong-University" Youth Talent Introduction Conference and a symposium on campus cooperation. Li Jingsheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Central South University, Chang Shi, Party Secretary of Xiangya School of Medicine, Wu Shiming, Deputy Party Secretary of Xiangya School of Medicine, and Xu Zan, Director of the Employment Guidance Center of Central South University, attended the event.

The meeting commenced with a welcoming address from Li Jingsheng, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Pudong New Area for its longstanding support of our university graduates' employment efforts. He warmly welcomed the leaders from the Pudong New Area government departments and representatives from various employing units. Li emphasized that Pudong's initiative to attract talent to our university heralds a new chapter in cooperation between our university and the new area.

During the conference, Deputy District Mayor Zhang Difang delivered a presentation titled "Come to Pudong and Showcase Yourself to the World." Mao Lixiong, Deputy Secretary of the Education Work Committee of Pudong New Area, introduced the situation of educational institutions in the new area, showcasing Pudong's high-quality basic education system. Chen Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Health Work Committee of Pudong New Area and Deputy Director of the Health Commission, briefed the audience on the construction of Pudong's high-level medical platform, stating that the purpose of this visit was to "invite talents from all over the world to create a win-win future."

Later in the afternoon, the "Pudong New Area and Central South University Campus Cooperation Symposium" was held at the Xiaoqian Building, 8th floor, Xiangya School of Medicine. The symposium was chaired by Wu Shiming, Deputy Party Secretary of Xiangya School of Medicine.

During the symposium, Chang Shi, Party Secretary of Xiangya School of Medicine, introduced the situation of the school from various aspects including its historical evolution, organizational structure, talent cultivation, scientific research, and social services. Subsequently, both parties engaged in a signing ceremony for cooperation agreements. After the signing, leaders from both sides delivered enthusiastic speeches, and representatives from relevant employing units in Pudong briefly introduced their basic information. The atmosphere at the symposium was warm and sincere, with both hosts and guests quickly reaching a consensus on establishing a stable and mutually beneficial cooperative relationship.
